Dormy House Hotel’s House Spa, one of the AA’s Best UK Spa, awarded 5 Bubbles by the Good Spa Guide, offers guests an indoor and outdoor blend of soothing therapies, serene pool, terrace hot tub and Scandi-style thermal suite, aromatic steam room – an experience shower with choice of forest mist, tropical rain or arctic blast, our beautiful Himalayan salt sauna, and Snow Shower, with no detail overlooked in this luxurious setting.
You will be qualified to a minimum of NVQ 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent) and will ideally have experience of carrying out a range of treatments to an extremely high standard. You will excel at providing the best experience possible to your guests, and be able to demonstrate a passion for keeping your knowledge and techniques up to date.
This is a full time permanent role of 40 hours over 5 days per week, with shift patterns that include weekends (start times vary, the earliest could be 8.30am and the latest finish would be 6.30pm, shifts are 8 hours plus ½ hour unpaid break). You’ll receive in a 3 week rolling rota the following- 1 full weekend off, with 0.5 weekend off every 2 weeks.
In return, we offer an excellent pay rate of £12.25 per hour (£12.50 after 1 year), plus service charge (around £2000-£2500 per year, paid monthly). You’ll be provided with a uniform and meals on duty.
