We are looking for two HR Advisors to join our fantastic HR Team here at Farncombe Estate, home to Dormy House (the one with the Spa), Foxhill Manor (the one with no rules) and The Fish Hotel (the one with the treehouses).
Reporting to the Group HR Manager, you will be based operationally within the hotel and focused on tactical issues to keep the hotel team functioning at optimum performance. You will be the first point of call for any HR queries in the hotel and give first line support to our heads of department and managers, offering best practice generalist support, advice and guidance on HR policy and people issues. You will work closely with our Resourcing Manager and the hiring managers to actively recruit and screen candidates, whilst ensuring we deliver a first class onboarding experience, with the guidance of our Engagement Manager.
You will also provide support to our heads of department with administration tasks such as absence, holiday and rota information and liaise with our HR Administrator on more wider or complex issues.
Working with the wider HR team you will help to bring the HR strategy to life, support organisational change and help with operational teams learning and development needs.
Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified, you’ll need to be approachable and personable with good active listening skills. You’ll also need to be really well organised, and accustomed to working autonomously and flexibly – you’ll need to think on your feet almost daily. We’ll ask you to evidence your strong influencing and interpersonal skills, as well as building rapport whilst maintaining a commercial focus.
Experience of practising HR in a hospitality environment would be preferable, but HR experience in a similar customer facing industry will also be very relevant.
