Start your visit to the Cotswolds off with a bang, as you take aim and fire in an action-packed clay shooting session.
Take in the breath-taking countryside scenes as you take a stroll hillside and have a go at breaking some clays! During the session our highly skilled Farncombe Adventures team will be on-hand to show you how to use your gun safely and take you through basic shooting techniques.
What do I need to bring with me?
All the equipment needed for the activity will be provided. Even if you’re an avid shooter, unfortunately, you cannot use your own gun during the session for health and safety reasons.
Clay shooting takes place on our outdoor range, so we recommend dressing appropriately for the ever-changing British weather. Sturdy, closed toe footwear should be worn throughout the session. Guests must also have their shoulders covered with either a jumper or coat, to protect against recoil.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age to take part in a clay shooting session is 12 years old. Any guests under the age of 18 taking part must be accompanied by an adult.
Can I shoot whilst pregnant?
Unfortunately, pregant ladies cannot take part in this activity due to the potential risks to the baby from the recoil and loud sounds.
Group sessions are available Tuesdays and Thursday and cost £70 per person (max group size is 12 people).
Private shooting sessions are available Monday – Saturday, subject to availability. It costs £100 per person and there must be a minimum of 2 people for the session to run.
