Eckington Manor Cookery School

Since opening in 2007, Eckington Manor Cookery School located on a working farm just outside the market town of Pershore in Worcestershire has established a national reputation for excellence. We have created the ultimate cookery school with state of the art facilities and a team of dedicated, passionate and professional tutors.

The school offers half day cookery demonstration days, 1 and 2 day courses as well as a range of Aga courses. All of the courses are held in a state of the art, spacious open plan classroom with individual work stations and a large demonstration unit, created for group teaching and demonstrations; complete with overhead flat screen TV’s which display close-ups of dishes being prepared. Relaxed lunches and dinners are served in an informal conservatory style dining room.

The school is supplied with fresh, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients as well as having a flourishing herb and vegetable garden which provides produce for the school. The farm supplies the cookery school with beef, lamb and Gloucester Old Spot pork.

The wide variety of cookery courses taught in small groups throughout the year range from Easy Entertaining and Exclusively Men to Bread & Baking and Great British Classics and Italian Cookery, provide a hands on opportunity for guest students to learn new skills, recipes and create delicious dishes whilst picking up some expert culinary tips. Private parties and corporate events are also a speciality at Eckington Manor.

The luxury accommodation for the school is located in an historic farmhouse, Lower End House just across the courtyard from the school which has been carefully restored and renovated with the highest attention to detail. This lovely period house has a VisitBritain 5 Star Gold Award and is full of character, with 5 individually designed bedrooms with ensuite Fired Earth bathrooms and The White Company toiletries.
