Watercolours with International Artist and Tutor Jacky Pearson

The class will be designed for improvers to intermediate painters. Jacky will cover a range of subject matter from Friday evening to Sunday: a landscape, water and boats and figures to populate your paintings. Each day you will complete a painting that you will follow Jacky’s step by step demonstration. You will be given plenty of opportunity to practise, practise, practise the elements of the painting before moving onto the next step. There will also be plenty of opportunity for individual critiques.
Jacky will cover composition, linear perspective, aerial perspective in terms of tone, colour temperature, colour mixing and materials advice. Reference material, teaching handouts and colour photos will be supplied to you. It would be preferable to bring along tube paints rather than pan paints due to the unique 1,2,3 mixing techniques that Jacky specialises in teaching.
