Fragile Flora: Created with Stitch and Fabric

Discover the delights of designing with leaves. You will use a variety of techniques to explore the patterns of leaves using paint and resist before interpreting these designs into fabric. A combination of stitch and fabric distressing techniques will be incorporated to create a collection of fragile flora to compliment the autumnal leaves of nature.
Please Bring with you:
Sewing machine
Basic sewing kit
A variety of machine threads including metallics
8” embroidery ring
Sketchbook
All other Art materials and fabrics to create the flora will be provided.
Extra cost per student for materials provided £3
