Singing Courses

Come and Sing Classic Pop Songs

Start: 11 June 2010 at 6:00 p.m.
End: 13 June 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
With Chris Rowbury

If you love old pop songs, then come and spend the weekend with Chris Rowbury to learn unaccompanied harmony versions of classic pop songs from the 60s and 70s.

The weekend will be filled with the sound of songs from the likes of The Rolling Stones, Motown, The Byrds, The Who, Cat Stevens and many more – all arranged especially for voice only, in glorious harmony.

This workshop is open to all whether you just sing in the bath, or perform regularly with your local choir. All songs have been carefully chosen and arranged for voice only, and will be taught by ear. No previous experience needed, just bring your vocal chords and your enthusiasm!

Please bring plenty of water to drink during sessions as singing for a whole day can be thirsty work! Please also wear comfortable clothes and shoes as there are periods of standing during rehearsals and some movement while singing.
